Certifications and standards

The well-known norm of the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) does not only stand for the adherence to certain regulations, but also for a continuous improvement process at IGEFA WEINBRENNER energy solutions. The certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 evidences the creation, implementation, and maintenance of our quality management system.

As our customer, you will profit from this adherence to fundamental standards in the organization of projects and the associated production.

The application of the quality assurance systems for conformity assessment procedures within the scope of the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) is described in modules D, D1, E, E1, H, and H1. These modules, which are based on quality assurance techniques, describe the elements a manufacturer has to implement in their company in order to substantiate that the pressure equipment satisfies the requirements of the PED.

With modules A and A2 we conduct not only simple, but also irregular internal production controls with monitored pressure equipment checks at IGEFA WEINBRENNER energy solutions.

The certification according to DIN EN ISO 3834 AD2000 HPO examined and certified the fundamental quality specifications concerning welding production plants at IGEFA WEINBRENNER energy solutions. With the auxiliary AD2000 HP0, a concrete reference to pressure equipment is established.

All requirements for pressure-retaining components concerning material, calculation, manufacture, examination, inspection, testing, certification, and overpressure protection are regulated in the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

These regulations are issued by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, which has more than 120,000 members worldwide.

The ASME Code itself is divided into individual sections according the different types of tanks (steam boilers, heating boilers, pressure vessels, etc.), production steps (welding, NDT), and materials.

The technical policy TR ZU 032/2013 regulates the safety of pressure vessels and sets coherent safety requirements for gear that works with overpressure as well as its labeling. Its purpose is to ensure the protection of life, health, environment, and property.

Correspondent to the technical policy TR ZU 032/2013, pressure vessels and tanks shall be drafted and manufactured a certain way in order to rule out specific risks during operation.

The SELO license is also known as the China Manufacture License (CML), China Stamp or the Pressure Vessel License. It is an approval procedure from the Chinese authority SELO – China Special Equipment Licensing Office. This authority is overseen by the State Administration for Market Regulations (SAMR).

This SELO registration is required for products such as boilers, pressure vessels, safety components, gas cylinders, tanks and hot water systems.

IGEFA WEINBRENNER Energy Solutions GmbH has the license to produce pressure vessels for the Chinese market.
